An Update on the Coronavirus [COVID-19] and its Impact on Upcoming Events
We invite you to participate with us virtually.
Dear Network Colleagues,
We would like to send you and your loved ones our best wishes for continued wellness and safety during this unprecedented time.
The Coronavirus [COVID-19] has had an impact on all of our work, including our Network events. We are a team that is dedicated to gathering people together to share, learn, experiment, and build community. Toward those ends, we are rethinking and redesigning our meetings, including creating virtual gathering spaces. For those who are interested and able to participate, here is what we know about the future of our planned events:
Active recruitment underway:
- We are still accepting proposals for the annual Student Success Conference (September 10-11, 2020). We invite you to submit a proposal through our extended deadline on April 13th.
- We are still recruiting for the 2020-21 Middle Leadership Academy. Please submit a letter of interest through our extended deadline on April 20th.
Virtual/rescheduled events this spring:
- Middle Leadership Academy, third session: Convening virtually April 2-3, 2020.
- Spring Convening on Equity-Minded Teaching and Learning: Postponed to fall 2020 (date TBD).
If you already arranged for travel to any of our canceled/postponed events, please work directly with your travel administrator and/or your campus department to cancel your plans and seek reimbursement in accordance with your campus policies and procedures. Please do not hesitate to message our Director, Terra Thorne, with any questions you may have at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sending calm, kindness, and gratitude to everyone during this challenging time.
